what is it like where you are? I've never been there.
won't you miss it when you come to the US? if I could
get my writing career back working, I could live any
place at all. and where you are now seems lovely in
many ways. not in the postcard sense. but I guess some
of that too. of course, I didn't grow up there, so I
don't have the associations, both bad and good, that
a native would have. of course also, I've come to love
these mountains here, this particular sky.
and then there's Selene. I don't want to be away from
her. she makes me happier than anyone. she's such a
surprise, always. and I tell her so. maybe one day
we'll go traveling together to faraway lands. though
I have to say, I've never been much for traveling. I
spent a couple years in Japan once, long ago.
